GULFPORT -- Anyone who has ever attended Boca Ciega High School is invited to the alumni association's general membership meeting Tuesday at the school, 924 58th St. S.

Meeting time is 8 p.m. in the campus library.

Principal Barbara Paonessa will be the guest speaker. Association activities and projects will be discussed.

The organization's purpose is to support academic excellence at Boca Ciega. It has raised funds through an annual golf tournament and other activities and has established two scholarships. It honors teachers and students who have excelled and acts as a liaison between the school and graduates in homecoming events, the annual sports hall of fame inductions and reunions.
