Mortgage firm opens new office

Wells Fargo Home Mortgage Inc. has opened a retail mortgage office at 1110 Pinellas Bayway, Suite 111, Tierra Verde. Bill Brassil has been named branch manager. Before the appointment, Brassil was a sales manager for Citi Mortgage, formerly Source One Mortgage, in St. Petersburg. He also spent four years with Dime Mortgage in Islamorada.

Steve Green has opened Tropix and Treasures at 4301 34th St. S, inside the Maxi Mall. Green previously was a designer for Thomasville Home Furnishings in Clearwater. Tropix and Treasures, a 500-square-foot store, includes antiques, home accessories and imported art.

Mama Tha Pizza & Subs has opened at 1437 Central Ave., St. Petersburg, in the Dome District. Owner Tha Souksavong operated a similar restaurant in Greenville, N.C. Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Joseph C. Kramer has been appointed director of sales and marketing for the Renaissance Vinoy Resort, St. Petersburg. Kramer recently served as acting director of hotel sales and marketing for the Don CeSar Beach Resort and Spa in St. Pete Beach.

Horizon Marketing Group Inc., 475 Central Ave., St. Petersburg, announced the following contracts: PricewaterhouseCoopers, for e-strategy; Homeseekers Inc., for Web application development; Marketing Associates USA, for Web site redesign; Michael Saunders Co., for Web application development; and Elite Marketing, for Web application development.
