Ex-coach set to be honored

By PETE YOUNG

Seminole will honor longtime coach Bill Brinker before tonight's game at 7 against Palm Harbor U.

Brinker, who coached the Warhawks for 29 years, though the 1995 season, went 485-226 with 11 PCAC titles. Many ex-Seminole players and coaches, and many who coached against Brinker, are expected to attend. Among them will be longtime Dunedin coach and current PHU coach Greg Nichols. During the ceremony, Brinker's uniform No. 20 will be retired.

"It's long overdue," said Tom Kotchman, who played for Brinker and is helping organize the ceremony. "We hope all former players and coaches who can make it will attend."
