Registration ending soon for workshopBy Times staff writer © St. Petersburg Times, published February 23, 2001 INVERNESS -- The Citrus County Unit of Parliamentarians in cooperation with the Department of Parks and Recreation of the city of Inverness will present a parliamentary procedure workshop from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. March 3 in the Whispering Pines Park Recreation Building. If you are an officer, the knowledge of parliamentary procedure will enhance your leadership ability and give you self-confidence in presiding over a meeting. If you are a member, the knowledge of parliamentary procedure will help you be aware of your rights and responsibilities and what procedure to use if you do not agree with a decision that has been reached. The $20 registration fee includes morning coffee at 8:30 a.m., lunch and materials. Registration deadline is Saturday.
