NEW PORT RICHEY -- Longtime Ridgewood coach Glenn Cable, who stepped down as boys track coach in December, said he will decide in March whether to step down as boys cross country coach as well.
Cable has been recovering from injuries he suffered when his truck was sideswiped outside an Odessa theater on Hillsborough Avenue on July 8.
He said he suffered from acute neck and back pain during cross country season in the fall. "Cross country was excruciating for me," Cable said.
Cable said with therapy, his condition is improving. But whether he can return to coaching, and spend hours standing and running, is still undetermined.
