Here are details of upcoming activities: Designer Showcase 2001, through March 4, sponsored by the Florida West Coast Symphony Association at two locations: the penthouse at the Sarasota Bay Club, 1301 N Tamiami Trail, and the Roskamp residence, 4311 Bay Shore Road, both in Sarasota. Hours: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Saturday, noon-4 p.m. Sunday. Tickets: $15. Information: (941) 953-4252. Directions: From I-75 south, take Exit 39 (Fruitville Road) west to U.S. 41 (Tamiami Trail) and turn north (right). For the Sarasota Bay Club, turn left at 14th Street. For the Roskamp residence, continue north on Tamiami Trail and turn left on Myrtle Street, then right onto Bay Shore Road. 12th annual Spring Gathering, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. March 4, Harborview Center, 300 Cleveland St., Clearwater. Artists and crafters show and sell their work: florals, wreaths, birdhouses, pottery, baskets, glass, candles, furniture, clothing, calligraphy, bears, dolls, needlework. Craft demonstrations throughout the day. Admission: $2 adults, $1 12 and younger. No strollers until 2 p.m. Information: (727) 787-6027. Eighth annual Anna Maria Island Tour of Homes: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. March 10. Five private homes in this laid-back beach community; food, boutique, raffle of handmade island quilt. Heritage Tour 2001: Historic Ocala Preservation Society's 10th annual tour of historic homes. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. (candlelight tour) March 3, noon-5 p.m. March 4. Six homes, built between the 1880s and 1920s. Tickets: $10 on tour day. Information: the preservation society, (352) 351-1861. From 2-4 p.m. March 3 an antiques expert will evaluate items for ticketholders. 38th Annual Chiselers Market: 9 a.m.-2 p.m. March 10 at Plant Hall, University of Tampa, 401 W Kennedy Blvd., Tampa. "Tampa's largest one-day flea market." Books, art, clothing, jewelry, china, crystal, silver, collectibles, gourmet foods, furniture and accessories, plants and flowers, kitchenware, electrical items and tools, toys. Sale supports restoration of Plant Hall. Sixth Annual Tour of Historic Tampa Heights, noon-5 p.m. March 17. Tickets: $10. Information: (813) 307-0007. Fourth annual Pass-a-Grille Woman's Club Home Tour, 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. April 1. Tickets: $20. Ticket outlets and an address for mail sales will be available soon.
