First Unity workshop: "Messages From Angels"

Doreen Virtue, who has written books about mind, body and spirit issues, will present a workshop, "Messages From Your Angels," from 7 to 10 p.m. Monday at First Unity Church, 469 45th Ave. N.

Seating is limited. The doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets, $25 in advance and $30 at the door, are available from the church office from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today and Sunday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday. Call the church office at 527-2222.

Minister to embark on trip to Holy Land

The Rev. Susan Hall, minister of children and youth at First Church of God in St. Petersburg, will leave Monday for a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. She is one of four Florida ministers taking the trip, sponsored by the Grand Commandery Knights Templar of Florida.

Choirs, orchestra plan Vivaldi concert Sunday

The combined choirs of St. John Vianney and Holy Family Catholic churches, with the Florida Baroque Festival Orchestra, will present Gloria in Excelsis by Antonio Vivaldi, at 3 p.m. Sunday. The concert will be held at St. John's, at Blind Pass Road and 82nd Avenue on St. Pete Beach. An offering will be taken.
