LAKE MAGDALENE ELEMENTARY: The school's Kindergarten Roundup will be at 9:15 a.m. Friday in the media center, 2002 Pine Lake Drive. Activities will include festival booths, arts and crafts, silent auction and the "Taste of Lake Magdalene," featuring local restaurants. Tickets can be purchased for five for $1 in advance, four for $1 the day of the event.

MANISCALCO ELEMENTARY: Kindergarten registration and orientation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. March 26 at the school, 939 Debuel Road. Children must be 5 years old by Sept. 1 to register. STORYTELLING FESTIVAL: The 21st annual Tampa-Hillsborough County Storytelling Festival will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 21 at Hillsborough High School, 5000 Central Ave. The free event will include youth and adult storytellers, a storybook character parade, book fair, puppet shows and workshops. Students from kindergarten to 12th grade are invited to participate in the festival and become a youth storyteller. Registration deadline is March 5. UPCOMING SAT EXAM: The SAT exam will be administered May 5 at Gaither, Hillsborough and Sickles high schools. Registration deadline is March 29. Cost is $24. Late registration is an additional $15.
