TAMPA -- Clearwater captured the school's first boys soccer state championship with a 1-0 win over Flagler Palm Coast in the Class 3A final.
Clearwater's lone goal came in the 25th minute. Brian Hahn headed in a long throw-in by Steve Goodrow from point-blank range. From there, the Tornadoes played solid defense and survived several close calls.
