Seminar takes look at cosmetic surgery

The Hernando Endoscopy and Surgery Center has announced that Dr. Sunanda Singh, a board-certified surgeon, will present a seminar, "Current Options in Cosmetic Procedures for the Face," including chemical peels and laser procedures, at 3 p.m. March 14 at the Hernando Medical Park Conference Center, 12208 Cortez Blvd., Spring Hill. Singh received both a medical degree and doctorate from the University of Chicago. He was chief resident in surgery at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia and chief resident in plastic surgery at the University of South Florida. Refreshments will be served. Florida Power speaker talks about mergers

The Florida Public Relations Association Nature Coast Chapter is holding its monthly meeting at 11:45 a.m. March 9 at Southern Woods Golf & Country Club at 1501 Corkwood Blvd. in Homosassa. The guest speaker will be Mac Harris, communications supervisor for Florida Power Corp. in Crystal River. The topic will be "Mergers, People & the Sounds of Silence."
