Regional transportation group meets Wednesday

The West Central Florida Metropolitan Planning Organization Chairs' Coordinating Committee will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Center for Urban Transportation Research, University of South Florida, 4202 E Fowler Ave., Boardroom 143, Tampa. County traffic planning group meets Thursday

The Hernando County Metropolitan Planning Organization will meet at 9 a.m. Thursday in the County Commission chambers, Hernando County Government Center, 20 N Main St., Brooksville.

Catholic church hosting session on heart health

St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church will hold a healthy heart class at 2 p.m. today at Xavier Hall on Mariner Boulevard. This is a program on how to keep your heart healthy that is sponsored by the Parish Health Ministry. Everyone is welcome.
