The Area Agency on Aging is offering free job training and job placement to Pasco and Pinellas County residents ages 55 and older. To be eligible for this program, individuals must earn less than $8,350 for a single or $11,250 for a family of two. Volunteers: counsel on health insurance

The Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders Program needs volunteers. Volunteers provide individual counseling and assistance to elders and their caregivers about Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare plan choices, long-term care and other health insurance issues. Volunteers also make educational presentations to community groups and participate in local health fairs, senior fairs and outreach events. Call (800) 861-8111.
