MUSICAL ROUNDUP: The Citrus County Barbershoppers will present "How The West Was Sung," a musical concert at 3 p.m. Sunday at Curtis Peterson Auditorium, Roger Weaver Educational Complex, County Road 491 S, Lecanto. The concert features favorite western songs sung in the barbershop style. Tickets are $11 in advance. Call 637-3285 or 382-4559. Tickets will be available at the door day of show for $12.50.

CITRUS HIGH PLAY: The Citrus Players, a drama group from Citrus High in Inverness, will perform the musical comedy Bye Bye Birdie in the school cafetorium at 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $5 in advance, $7.50 at the door. Call the school at 726-2241.

PAVILION POLKA: Three-time Grammy winner Walter Ostanek and his high-energy band will perform today at Rock Crusher Canyon's Garden Pavilion. The Walter Ostanek Band has recorded 61 albums, 20 singles and had a Gold Record Award from ARC Recording Co. in Toronto in 1974. Television appearances include the Tonight Show withJohnny Carson, Phil Donahue Show and the Lawrence Welk Show. Ostanek won three Grammys for Best Polka Album from 1992-94. Show includes a buffet of pork loin, sauerbraten with gingersnap gravy, kielbasa, homemade spatzle, sauteed green cabbage and three salads. Admission is $15 plus tax per person. PLAYHOUSE 19: Tickets for the musical Taking My Turn are available weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Playhouse 19, 865 U.S. 19 S, Crystal River. The musical is based on themes submitted by seniors about the issues they face as they age. Show dates are March 9 through April 1. Tickets are $12. Call 563-1333.

ART LEAGUE: The Citrus County Art League presents Master Class weekends beginning March 23. The play is the life story of opera singer and diva Maria Callas as she teaches a master class at Julliard.
