If you like retro music, don't miss Vet Music Fest 2001 on Saturday at Coachman Park. The event will feature four acts that made waves in the 1960s and 1970s. Headlining the event will be Tommy James and the Shondells. James is probably best known for his chart toppers Hanky Panky, Crimson and Clover,Mony Mony, Lost in Your Eyes and Draggin' the Line. Also featured will be Supremes charter member Mary Wilson, who sang Where Did Our Love Go?, Baby Love, Stop! In the Name of Love and Love Child with Diana Ross. Also on the lineup are the Buckinghams, who are remembered for their hit Don't You Care, and Sonny Geraci, best known for singing Time Won't Let Me with the Outsiders and Precious and Few with Climax. Gates open at 12:30 p.m. The concert begins at 2:30 p.m. Tickets cost $10 and are available at Ticketmaster and the Clearwater Parks & Recreation Office, 100 S. Myrtle Ave., Clearwater. Nothing says spring like the 12th annual Spring Gathering arts and crafts show, which will feature hand-crafted items including wreaths, swags, pine needle baskets, stained glass, candles poured into country crocks, antique postcard magnets, pins, furniture, calligraphy, beads, lamps and quilts. There will be hot and cold herbal packs, pet items, handmade teddy bears, pillows and garden items. Craft demonstrations will take place throughout the day. The show will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Harborview Center, 300 Cleveland St., Clearwater. Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for children 12 and younger.
