Plans for Save Our Waters Week to be discussedBy Times staff writers © St. Petersburg Times, published March 3, 2001 LECANTO -- The Citrus 20/20 Inc. Save Our Waters Week Committee will meet at 10 a.m. March 19, in the Southwest Florida Water Management District Liaison Office in Suite 226 of Lecanto Government Building. During the meeting activities will be selected for the Sixth Annual Save Our Waters Week Sept. 15-22. All interested organizations and persons are welcome to attend and encouraged to participate on the committee. Any organization or person wanting information should contact Curt Ebitz at 382-3847. Nurse, health assistant courses offered at WTIINVERNESS -- Green Thumb Inc. in association with the Withlacoochee Technical Institute is offering an eight-week course for certified nurse's assistant and home health assistant. This course begins in April and will be taught five days a week, six hours each day at WTI, 1201 W Main St. To qualify, participants must be 55 or older and income eligible. The course includes free tuition, books and uniforms. A high school diploma is not required. For information, call Green Thumb, 726-5477. Some classes to be disrupted at auditoriumINVERNESS -- Due to various activities in the Citrus County Auditorium this month the following classes will be canceled or relocated to another site: Aerobics, walking, clogging, line dancing and tae kwon do.
