Movie: Recess: School's Out
Rating: G
Summary: This is an animated film based on the popular Saturday morning show, Recess. A group of six 10-year-old friends rally together during their summer recess to save summer vacation for kids everywhere. They must go up against their school's demented former principal as he tries to get rid of it once and for all, in a most unusual way.
My view: I was surprised that I enjoyed this film. The animation was fairly decent, and the characters were chock-full of personality. This movie is obviously geared more toward elementary school kids, but I think the humor and the music can be appreciated by the older bunch, too.
Favorite part: I got a kick out of the funny antics and the witty remarks that the kindergarteners made throughout the movie.
Least favorite part: Nothing bad really jumped out at me.
Recommendations: This movie is made for the elementary school set, but don't worry parents, and older siblings, you won't be totally bored out of your minds.
Grade: B
