He is the first Bull to earn the honor in C-USA's existence.

TAMPA -- Whether he is part of the starting lineup or igniting the team with his play off the bench, Altron Jackson has been the go-to player for South Florida.
His efforts were rewarded Monday with one of Conference USA's highest honors.
Jackson, a 6-foot-6 forward, was named first team all-conference, the first Bull to earn first-team honors in the league's five years.
The Bulls' B.B. Waldon was a second-team selection.
Jackson, 21, started nine of the Bulls' 29 games but averaged a team-high 19.3 points, second in the conference. He scored 20 or more points in 14 games and had more than 32 three times. Jackson is the highest-scoring sixth man in the nation.
Against conference opponents, Jackson averaged 20 points and shot 47 percent from the field.
"Altron Jackson's success is a tribute to how hard he has worked during his collegiate career," coach Seth Greenberg said. "He has established himself as one of the premier players in Conference USA. It's also a tribute to B.B. that despite being suspended for four games, that the Conference USA coaches found him worthy of being named to the second team."
Waldon averaged 16.8 points and a team-high 7.1 rebounds in 25 games, despite missing four games because of a disciplinary suspension.
Waldon and Jackson were preseason all-conference selections.
