This week's winner: Beverley Dedrick of Seminole knew that Fred "Sonic" Smith, the late husband of punk godmother Patti Smith, played guitar in the legendary Detroit punk band the MC5, which, incidentally, stood for Motor City Five.
This week's question: The Go-Go's, one of pop's most beloved all-girl groups, have reunited to record God Bless the Go-Go's, the band's first album in 15 years, due in May. The Go-Go's scored an early hit with Our Lips Are Sealed, written by guitarist Jane Weidlin and her then-boyfriend Terry Hall, lead singer for a British new wave band.
To get your name in the random drawing for the Weekend T-shirt, tell me the name of Hall's band. (Hint: The act once recorded a song with Bananarama.)
