HOLY JOKES!: The Day They Kidnapped the Pope continues Thursdays and weekends through March 25 at Stage West Community Playhouse, 8390 Forest Oaks Blvd., Spring Hill. Shows are at 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and at 2 p.m. Sundays. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for students 17 and younger. OY VAY: The sixth annual Oy Vay Cabaret will be at 8 p.m. Saturday and at 2:30 p.m Sunday at Temple Beth David Jewish Center, 13833 E Linden Drive, Spring Hill. Singer Carla Becker and a troupe of local entertainers will present the cabaret-style concert to benefit the center. ART ON DISPLAY: The work of Spring Hill Art League artist of the month, Henry Bax, will be on display through March during business hours at the Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative, 10005 Cortez Blvd. in Spring Hill. TASTY TREAT: Tickets are on sale for the annual Suncoast Sampler food gala April 1 at Gulf View Square mall to benefit the Pasco-Hernando Community College Foundation. More than 25 restaurants in Pasco and Hernando counties will serve samples of their specialties. Participants include Boston Cooker, Carrabba's Italian Grill, Chili's, CiCi's Pizza, Hops, Hooters, Johnny Leverock's, Scarpo's Maryland Seafood House and Outback Steak House. Curtain calls

Auditions for the annual Brooksville Music Club scholarships will be Saturday at First United Methodist Church, 108 S Broad St., Brooksville. The auditions are open to Hernando County high school students in their junior or senior year (or home-school equivalent), at least 15 years old and taking private lessons in voice, piano, string or wind instrument. Auditions for the annual Reaching for the Stars talent competition held by the Alzheimer's Family Organization will be March 25 at the Center for the Arts at River Ridge, 11646 Town Center Road, New Port Richey. Those who audition pay a $10 audition fee ($5 for each additional member of a group, with a maximum charge of $20). The show will be at 2 p.m. May 6 at the Center for the Arts.
