LAND O'LAKES -- A 47-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after he shoved a 16-year-old boy, stole his bicycle and then threatened to beat up the boy's father, Pasco County Sheriff's deputies said.
Archie Burdet Tuten of 7025 Decision Road in Land O'Lakes was charged with strong armed robbery, deputies said.
About 2 p.m. Wednesday, Tuten came home and saw the boy in his yard sitting on the bike, deputies said. He pushed the boy off the bike, put the bike in his car and told the boy to get his father so he could beat him up as well.
Deputies said Tuten later admitted that he took the bike.
He was being held Thursday at county jail in Land O'Lakes on $20,000 bail, deputies said.
