HUDSON -- A 21-year-old Port Richey man was charged Wednesday with lewd and lascivious acts on a child after deputies said he touched a 15-year-old girl's genitals and performed sexual acts on her while she was semiconscious.
The incident happened on March 3 in Hudson, according to a report written by a Pasco County sheriff's deputy.
Dennis Damion Marlow of 7312 Oakcrest Drive, Port Richey, was arrested Wednesday. Deputies did not disclose the relationship between Marlow and the girl.
Marlow was booked into the county jail in Land O'Lakes, and his bail was set at $5,000.
HUDSON -- A 71-year-old man had a fatal heart attack while driving Thursday on Hays Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Arthur J. Strong of 12051 Banbury Ave., New Port Richey, was driving his 1991 Dodge easton Hays Road at noon.
As he drove into a curve in the road, Strong suffered a heart attack, causing him to lose control of the car, which struck a fence and then a tree, a trooper's report said.
PORT RICHEY -- Pasco County sheriff's deputies charged Allan Bonhomme with two counts of child abuse Wednesday after they said he "excessively punished" three children, ages 4, 7 and 9.
Bonhomme, 48, of 9121 Cochise Lane, Port Richey, abused the children on Nov. 11, a deputy's report said.
According to the report, the children received bruises and suffered mental distress.
Bonhomme was released from the county jail on a $10,000 bond on Wednesday night.
HOLIDAY -- A 16-year-old girl sold crack cocaine three times to to undercover deputies at local convenience stores, said Pasco County sheriff's authorities.
The girl, who is from Holiday, sold the drug to undercover officers on Feb. 13, Feb. 15 and on Wednesday, deputies said. Her name is being withheld because she is a minor.
During the first two incidents, the girl sold a total of 1.2 grams -- 0.04 ounces -- of crack for $150, deputies said; during the third drug deal, the girl allegedly sold 0.7 grams -- 0.02 ounces -- for $60 and was arrested.
Deputies found the girl in possession of 8.5 grams -- 0.29 ounces -- of crack cocaine on Wednesday. She was processed at the Juvenile Assessment Center.
