Stroke support, prevention group meets

Tony Covington, director of stroke fundraising, is speaking on behalf of the American Heart Association from 7 to 8 p.m. on Monday. Learn about medical, social and psychological aspects of stroke recovery. Find out how to cope with stroke-related disabilities and recognize stroke signs and symptoms. Flower arranging classes scheduled

Singles golf group meeting at club

The American Singles Golf Association, Tampa Bay Chapter will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Westchase Golf Club, 10217 Radcliffe Dr. The cost is $10 at the door and includes an hor d'oeuvre buffet. County commissioners plan community forum

The Hillsborough County commissioners will meet with residents of Town 'N Country from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. Residents will have a chance to ask questions and voice their concerns about community issues. The meeting is at the West Gate Baptist Church, 5121 Kelly Road.
