    Completion of training

    Pvt. Steve P. Bergren, a 2000 graduate of Tarpon Springs High School, competed training at Parris Island Marine Corps Recruit Depot in South Carolina, where he received a sharpshooter rating in marksmanship. He will continue his training at the Marine School of Infantry in Camp Lejeune, N.C. He is the son of Steve and Sandy Bergren.

    Pvt. Allen P. Coyle III, who attended Northeast High School, competed basic training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C., and the aviation logistics school at Fort Eustis in Newport News, Va. He is stationed in Ansbach, Germany. He is the son of Rebecca A. Coyle of Wilmington, Del., and Allen P. Coyle Jr. of Clearwater.

    Pvt. 2 Jeffrey D. Kniffin Jr., a 2000 graduate of Countryside High School, completed basic training and the wheeled vehicle mechanic course at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C. He is stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C. He is the son of Jeff and Tammy Kniffin.

    Airman Eric Kunzman, a 2000 graduate of Indian Rocks Christian School, completed basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. He is training at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Miss., and will be stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana, where he will be assigned to Special Operations. He is the son of William J. and Linda L. Kunzman of Clearwater.

    Lance Cpl. Kyle B. Locke, a 1998 graduate of Tarpon Springs High School, completed basic training at Parris Island Marine Corps Recruit Depot in South Carolina and advanced training at the Marine School of Infantry at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. He graduated in the top 5 percent of his platoon and received the Meritorious Mast award. He is the son of Patricia Locke of Palm Harbor and Bruce Locke of Largo.
