    Volunteers needed for mentoring programs

    CLEARWATER -- Gulf Coast Community Care needs volunteers for Linking Lifetimes -- which matches adults 30 and older with a child from a single-parent, low-income home -- and for the Adopt-A-Grandchild program, which needs adults 55 and older to volunteer at least two to four hours a week for an infant or up to 16 years old.

    Training is provided by Gulf Coast Community Care, 14041 ICOT Blvd., Clearwater. For information, call 538-7460, ext. 3019 or ext. 3192.

    Firehouse museum has openings for kids' tours

    LARGO -- The Kids Firehouse Museum, 9510 Kids Firehouse Ave., has openings for spring/summer tours for groups of children up to age 10. Free admission, but donations accepted. Call 585-1300.
