Psychologist to give two free talksBy Times staff writer © St. Petersburg Times, published March 15, 2001 Sylvia Rimm, a psychologist and contributing correspondent to NBC's Today show, will give two free talks this month on "family and school approaches to guiding children toward achievement." She is the author of How Jane Won: The Rimm Report on How Girls Become Successful Women. Rimm, a clinical professor at the Case Western University School of Medicine in Cleveland, will speak: From 7 to 8:30 p.m. March 27 at Bayshore Baptist Church, 3111 Morrison Ave., Tampa. From 7 to 8:30 p.m. March 28 at East Lake High School's Theater Auditorium, 1300 Silver Eagle Drive, East Lake.
