Former church leader to speak to Seventh-day Adventists

Elder G. Ralph Thompson, past immediate executive secretary of the World Church of Seventh-day Adventists in Silver Spring, Md., will speak at the 11 a.m. service March 24 at All Nations Seventh-day Adventist Church, 2611 First Ave. N, St. Petersburg.

At 3:45 p.m., the Seventh-day Adventist churches in the Tampa Bay Region, along with the Southern Union Conference, the North American Division and the Florida and Southeastern conferences, will hold a Disabilities/Diversity Awareness Symposium. The symposium will be at the Tampa First Seventh-day Adventist Church, 822 West Linebaugh Ave., Tampa. It is open to the public.

Quartet in concert at Lealman church

The Kingsmen Quartet of Cedarville University will present a concert, 7 p.m. Thursday, at Lealman United Methodist Church, 4090 58th Ave. N.

The concert is being hosted by D&D Missionary Homes.

Radio musician to perform on church's historic organ

St. Vincent's Episcopal Church, 5441 Ninth Ave. N, St. Petersburg, will present an organ concert at 5 p.m. Sunday. John Obetz, who hosted the syndicated radio program, The Auditorium Organ, originating from the world headquarters of the Reorganized Church of Latter-day Saints, will perform on the church's historic C. F. Durner mechanical action pipe organ.

First Ladies Prayer Brunch is April 10 at Hilton

The annual First Ladies Prayer Brunch, modeled after the National Prayer Breakfast, will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 10 at the St. Petersburg Hilton, 333 First St. S, St. Petersburg.

One of the speakers will be Janet Parshall, host of Janet Parshall's America, a nationally syndicated conservative talk show that originates in Washington, D.C. Lauren Dungy, wife of Tony Dungy, head coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, also will speak.
