TANNING SALON OPENS: Northdale Tanning Salon opened Feb. 28 in the Northdale Shoppes Plaza, 3829 Northdale Blvd., next door to Mailboxes Etc. All the beds are new and they are having a grand opening special of $25 for a month of unlimited tanning if you buy the package before April 1. For information, call (813) 960-4611. TGI FRIDAY'S COMING THIS SUMMER: TGI Friday's, an American casual dining chain, is opening a new location next door to Eckerd Drug on N Dale Mabry Highway just south of Northdale Boulevard in July. They offer a wide selection of appetizers, sandwiches, salads and specialty frozen drinks.

Citrus Park

BUGLE BOY INDUSTRIES INC. FILES BANKRUPTCY: Bugle Boy at Citrus Park Plaza will close its doors next month. Bugle Boy Industries Inc., which made a name for itself in the 1980s for its balloon-like parachute pants, filed for protection from creditors last month. Bugle Boy plans to close 215 retail stores, including ones in Tampa, St. Petersburg and Ellenton. Citrus Park Plaza is a "big box" shopping mall across from Citrus Park Town Center.
