Woman's body in river is identifiedBy Times staff writer © St. Petersburg Times, published March 21, 2001 TAMPA -- The body of a woman found floating down the Hillsborough River on Monday afternoon has been identified as 56-year-old Mary Peters Black, of 1539 E Scott St. in Tampa. Police fished her body out of the river after getting calls about 3 p.m. At 4:30 p.m., Black's family reported her missing, police said. An autopsy will determine the cause of death, although foul play is not suspected, police said.
