TARPON SPRINGS -- A benefit for the Frog Prince Puppetry Arts Center & Theatre, involving several events in two locations, will be Saturday. At 7 p.m., a puppetmaking workshop will begin at the puppetry theater, which is in the Arcade building at 210 S Pinellas Ave., Suite 158.

At 8 p.m. in the Cultural Center across the street, guest artist Bob Nathanson will present an unusual, black-light puppet show, The Spectacular Seas. Nathanson will give a demonstration at 8:45 p.m. after the show, and at 9 p.m., also at the Cultural Center, volunteers from the Frog Prince will host a reception with refreshments.

There is one charge for all of the events: $10 for adults, $6 for children 12 and younger. For reservations, call (727) 942-2222 or (727) 784-6392.
