Artbeat 2000 features work of student artistsBy Times staff writer © St. Petersburg Times, published March 22, 2000 Those interested in checking out the work of some talented high school artists should take a gander through the Pasco Fine Art Council's annual county-wide high school art exhibit. "ArtBeat 2000" is on display through April 27 at the Pasco Fine Arts Center, 5744 Moog Road, Holiday. Seventy-two students from seven Pasco schools are participating in the exhibition that features 93 pieces of art, including some in three-dimensional mediums. While the winners of this juried art show have been chosen (see box), the public is invited to visit this gallery exhibition and cast a vote for their favorite art work for the $25 Community Choice Award, which will be announced at the conclusion of the exhibition.
