Historical Society meeting at Herrmann Tree Farm

The Pasco County Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Friday at a new location, the Herrmann Tree Farm, 31311 Pasco Road, San Antonio. Guest speaker Chester Bradshaw will outline methods of restoration that could rehabilitate the Green Swamp. Bring a dish to share for the covered-dish dinner and your own table service and drink.

Garden club's show is March 30-31

The Dade City Garden Club will hold its annual Spring Flower Show from 1 to 7 p.m. March 30 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 31. This year's theme is "Capture the Charm of a Country Inn." The design division will be held at The Lark Inn, 37438 Meridian Ave., and the horticulture division and plant sale will be held at The Garden Center, 13630 Fifth St., Dade City.

Chamber of Commerce, museum sponsoring mixer

The Pioneer Florida Museum Association, Inc. and the Greater Dade City Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a business mixer from 5 to 7 p.m. March 29 at the Pioneer Florida Museum, U.S. 301, on Pioneer Museum Road. To RSVP, call (352) 567-3769.

Business women meeting Tuesday at Tourist Club

The American Business Women's Association will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Tourist Club, 5216 Seventh St., Zephyrhills. Margaret Seppanen will present the program on "Women in History." YMCA holding teen night, starting basketball league

The East Pasco Family YMCA, 37301 Chapel Hill Loop, will hold a teen night from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday. The cost is $5. For information, call (813) 780-9622. The East Pasco YMCA will begin an adult basketball league beginning at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. The cost is $15 for YMCA members and $25 for program members. The league will meet Mondays and Thursdays.
