The gang's all here
Jeff Dunham and his sidekicks, Walter, Peanut and Jose Jalapeno, have been all over TV for years now, everywhere from The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and with Jay Leno to Comedy Central to the Nashville Network.
Walter is a grumpy old man, Jose is a spicy pepper on a stick and Peanut is a furry creature called a Woozle. A new character, Super Guy, and a bumpkin named Bubba also will appear with Dunham, the comic ventriloquist once voted Funniest Male Stand Up Comic by the American Comedy Awards.
The whole gang hits the Tampa Improv this weekend for seven shows: 8 p.m. today, $17; 8 and 10:30 p.m. Fri., $20; 7 (no smoking), 9:30 and 11:30 p.m. Sat., $20; and 8 p.m. Sun., $17. All shows are for ages 21 and older except 11:30 p.m. Sat., when patrons may be as young as 18. The Improv is in Centro Ybor, 1600 E Eighth Ave. Call (813) 864-4000 for reservations and information.
