SAN ANTONIO -- A 21-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday after she left three small children alone and headed to work, a Pasco County Sheriff's Office report stated.
Mabel Virginia Singleton of 20654 Blanchette Court in Dade City left a 2-month-old, 2-year-old and 3-year-old alone on a front porch in San Antonio.
Deputies would not give the address of the home and didn't say if the children were related to Singleton.
Singleton admitted leaving the children but said someone was coming to babysit them. The children were picked up by their grandmother and taken to her house, the report stated.
Singleton was charged with three counts of child abuse and taken to Land O'Lakes jail, where she remained Wednesday evening in lieu of $1,500.
