SIGHTS AND SOUNDS: The fine arts departments of Citrus County schools present their students' talents at "Sights and Sounds 2000" during mall hours through Saturday at the Crystal River Mall. There are displays of visual arts by elementary, middle and high school students. Remaining scheduled performances in the food court area include: Citrus High Orchestra and Inverness Middle Strings at 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Homosassa Elementary 1-2 p.m., both today .
BLUEPRINT FOR THE MILLENNIUM: Citrus High School's Blueprint English classes will present "A Blueprint for the Millennium" at 5 p.m. Saturday in the Hampton Room at Andre's of Citrus Hills. The evening will include dinner, speeches and entertainment. Tickets are $15 and are available from Senior Blueprint Ticket Manager Katie Myers. Contact her at email@example.com.
ADVISORY COUNCIL MEETING: The Exceptional Student Education Advisory Council will meet from 8:30-11 a.m. April 6 in the CREST School cafeteria. The meeting will include a tour of CREST, a report from the CREST Advisory Council and a legislative update.
ART SALE AND ALL THAT JAZZ: Inverness Middle School will present its annual coffeehouse/gallery student performance and visual arts show at 7 p.m. April 13 in the school cafetorium. There will be refreshments and 3-dimensional art for sale for the benefit of the band program. Performances will include the jazz band and a wide array of student talent.
