Baseball

Ray Kozlowski and Meg Stegbauer will be the next inductees into the Seminole High School Baseball Boosters Hall of Fame.

Kozlowski, president of the booster club and an alumnus of the program, and Stegbauer, past secretary/treasurer and a long-term supporter, will be inducted at a ceremony April 1.

The banquet will be held in conjunction with the 14th annual Steve Georgiadis Easter Tournament. Previous inductees include Georgiadis, Bill Brinker, Tom Kotchman, Harry Guetzlaff, Mike Bianco and Greg Collins.

The banquet will be from 6 to 9 p.m. at Banquet Masters, 8100 Park Blvd. Tickets are $20 per person. For information, call Kozlowski at 391-4815 or Ann Wilson at 391-4024.

Bocce

A team from St. Petersburg recently finished third in the second annual Southwest Florida Open Bocce Tournament.

The team of Angel Cordano, Al Perilli, Gino Perna and Vicky Cordano finished behind teams from Cape Coral and Hollywood.

Martial arts

Kirk Hoffman, a student at Keswick Christian, recently finished first in the 100-kilogram division at the National High School Judo Championships in Indianapolis.

This marks the third time Hoffman has placed in the event.
