University of South Florida

Bring your questions to The Myths and Realities of the Cold War Seen From Both Sides, a forum, 2 p.m. today in Davis Hall, Room 130. Panelists will include Francis Gary Powers, Jr., founder of the Cold War Museum and curator of the U-2 exhibit at the Florida International Museum; Eckerd College's Sergei Novikov, professor of economics and Russian studies, and Catherine Griggs, professor of American studies; and USF's Darrel Slider, professor of political science, and Victor Peppard, professor of Russian language and literature. Bill Parsons, professor of history and Russian studies at Eckerd College, will moderate.

Ben Wilcox, president of Common Cause in Florida and former news director for Florida Public Radio, will speak on Reforming Florida Government at 6 p.m. Monday in the Campus Activities Center. Part of "Ethical Issues in Florida's Future," a lecture series exploring issues confronting Florida in the 21st century.

The SPJC Concert Chorus and Madrigalians will perform John Rutter's Requiem at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Music Center. The performance will feature student soloists, a small chamber orchestra, Cesar Franck's Psalm 150 and special selections by the SPJC Madrigalians. Call 341-4678 for information.
