Wrestlers invited to train, compete at Sickles High gym

CITRUS PARK -- Wrestlers from beginners to high school competitors are invited to take advantage of free lessons and training from 6:30-8 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday in the wrestling room at the Sickles High gym. Training is also available for adults interested in masters competition.

The training is being conducted by Sickles wrestling coach Terry Brackland and volunteers of the Guardian Wrestling Club.

For wrestlers qualified to compete and holding a U.S.A. Wrestling membership card, regular competition is available in both freestyle and Greco-Roman weekend tournaments. Paperwork to attain a U.S.A. Wrestling card will be available at all of Brackland's sessions.

Lessons are open to students from all high schools. The program is already in progress and will continue through the summer.
