Shannon Elizabeth and Jerry O'Connell may want to scratch Tomcats off their resumes.

College buddies make a bet that will win a fortune for the last remaining bachelor in Tomcats (R), a comedy opening Friday that screened too late for Weekend review. What film critics think of this raunchy testosterone fest probably doesn't matter to its target audience of frat boys and guys not smart enough for college. Jerry O'Connell, (above with Shannon Elizabeth) formerly the fat kid from Stand By Me, plays the Tomcats' ringleader who needs to win the bet to pay off a Las Vegas gambling debt. Jake Busey and Horatio Sanz co-star, with Shannon Elizabeth and Jaime Pressly around for feminine decoration and humiliation.
