Seeing stars
2002 Winter Olympics hopefuls Michelle Kwan, Sara Hughes, Sasha Cohen, Todd Eldredge and Timothy Goebel will appear at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ice Palace in Tampa with the John Hancock Champions on Ice Show.
Joining them are figure skating luminaries including Surya Bonaly, Brian Boitano, Viktor Petrenko, Elvis Stojko, Philippe Candeloro, Rudy Galindo, Isabelle Brasseur and Lloyd Eisler, Oksana Kazakova and Artur Dmitriev, Elizabeth Punsalan and Jerod Swallow and Maya Usova and Evgeny Platov.
Kwan continues to amaze. At 20, she has won five national titles, three world titles and won a silver medal in the 1998 Olympics. Last fall she entered UCLA as a full-time student.
