    PALM HARBOR DAYS: Celebrate the founding of Palm Harbor at the third annual Palm Harbor Days Family Carnival from 6 to 11 p.m. today, noon to 11 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at County Road 1, just west of Palm Harbor University High School. The event will feature rides, games, a fun house, entertainment and demonstrations. Sparkles the Clown will provide entertainment, and the Palm Harbor Fire Department and the Sheriff's Office will provide displays of their work. Harp music will be provided by David and Angel (Firestar) Simmons. There will be a karate demonstration at 4 p.m. Saturday, and sheriff's representatives will fingerprint children from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $14, or $12 with a special coupon available at the Palm Harbor Chamber of Commerce. Parking is $3. For more information, call (727) 784-4287.

    FIDO FUN WALK: Dunedin's recreation division is sponsoring the third annual Fido Fun Walk and Pet Fair from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the Community Center at Highlander Park, 1141 Michigan Blvd., Dunedin. The event will include a short owner-and-pet fun walk around the park, and demonstrations of search and rescue, obedience, K-9 work and agility. There will also be a pet fair featuring local veterinarians, pet-related businesses and animal awareness groups. The entry fee is $12 if you register, or $15 the day of event. Proceeds benefit the Humane Society of North Pinellas and the Dunedin for Youth Scholarship Fund. For more information, call (727) 298-3213.
