    MILITARY TATTOO: The 35th annual Highland Games and Festival week will begin with a Military Tattoo at 8 p.m. Saturday at Dunedin High School Memorial Stadium, 1651 Pinehurst Road, Dunedin. The event is a traditional European pageant featuring brass marching bands, drill units and pipe bands. There will be a parade of clans, a massed pipe and drum band made up of more than 100 pipers and drummers, Irish step dancing and a demonstration by the Pinellas County sheriff's K-9 unit. Tickets cost $10 for adults, $4 for children (kids age 6 or younger are free). Call (727) 733-6240.

    COMMUNITY EVENT: Clearwater's Neighborhoods Week continues with Home Depot Neighborhoods Day Workshops from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Home Depot, 2495 Gulf-to-Bay Blvd., Clearwater. It will feature information about energy-efficient lighting and fans, mildew removal and rescreening. There also will be activities for children. Free. Another neighborhood event will be Celebrate Clearwater Neighborhoods Day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday. More than 20 Clearwater neighborhoods will throw parties in honor of this special day.     WALK FOR A CURE: The 2001 National Multiple Sclerosis Society Walk will be from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Coachman Park, Clearwater. To participate, call (888) 950-9080 ext. 29.

    GAZEBO FUN: Enjoy a grand opening and dedication ceremony for the gazebo in John Wilson Park featuring performances of the Countryside High School Jazz Band, Sonny LaRosa and America's Youngest Jazz Band and jazz saxophonist Joseph Vincelli from 3 to 9 p.m. Saturday at 401 Main St., Safety Harbor. There will be food, beverages and a children's activity area with clowns, a moon walk, face painting and sand art. Free.

    TRIBUTE: The Royalty Theatre will present a memorial tribute to world-renowned tenor Fausto B. Chiapinelli starring pianist Jose Mariscal and featuring singer CarolAnn CamBell and Latin dancing at 3 p.m. tonight at the theater, 405 Cleveland St., Clearwater.     ART MEETING: Les Fauves, a Gulf Coast Museum of Art group for people in their 20s through 40s will get together for an interactive meeting called "I Can Do That" from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday at the museum, 12211 Walsingham Road, Largo. Participants will try their hand at art-making under the direction of several instructors and working artists. Admission is free for Les Fauves members, $5 for non-members. Refreshments served.     THRILLER: The Francis Wilson Playhouse is presenting the Victorian thriller Gaslight through April 8 at the playhouse, 302 Seminole St., Clearwater.     FARMER'S MARKET: You can buy fresh fruits, vegetables, plants and crafts at the Downtown Clearwater Farmer's Market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of Cleveland Street, Clearwater. Free admission, free parking.

    SUNSETS AT PIER 60: Enjoy a daily festival of arts, crafts and entertainment from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Pier 60 Pavilion, Clearwater Beach. Tonight, enjoy the reggae sounds of D'Krew. Saturday, the Patty Sanphy Band (rock) will play. Free.

    CONCERT: Ensemble Galilei and guest artist Steve Bloom will perform at 8 p.m. tonight at the Tarpon Springs Performing Arts Center, 324 Pine St., Tarpon Springs. Ensemble Galilei includes both classically trained and folk-trained artists who play an assortment of instruments including violin, Celtic harp, Scottish small pipes, oboe, recorder, viola de gamba and bowed psaltery.     FILM: In honor of April Fool's Day, the Scottish Muse and the Tarpon Springs Cultural Center will present the 1948 black and white film, Tight Little Island (also known as Whiskey Galore) at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Tarpon Springs Cultural Center, 101 S Pinellas Ave., Tarpon Springs.     GOLF TOURNAMENT: The City of Dunedin Pipe Band will present the fourth annual Kilty Klassic Golf Tournament at 8 a.m. Sunday at the Chi Chi Rodriquez Golf Club, 3030 N McMullen-Booth Road, Clearwater. The cost per player is $40, which includes golf, lunch, raffle tickets and entertainment. The event is a fundraiser for the pipe band. Call (727) 734-5581.
