San Antonio candidates forum slated MondayTimes staff writer © St. Petersburg Times, published March 31, 2000 SAN ANTONIO -- The city has scheduled its second forum for Monday in the four-person race for three seats on the City Commission. The forum is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at City Hall. The public is encouraged to attend. Candidates in the City Commission election, scheduled April 11, are incumbent Mayor Roy Pierce, 50, incumbent commissioner Heiskell Christmas, 37, Wendi Edwards, 32, and Mark Pearson, 36. Edwards and Pearson are making their first run for the commission. The top three vote getters earn two-year terms on the five-member panel.
