Sun City Center Big Band to hold concert Wednesday

The premier 20-piece Sun City Center Big Band will be in concert at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. This is the eighth annual "all request" concert at King Point Theater, 1900 Clubhouse Drive. Tickets are $6 plus tax and are available at the box office. For information, call (813) 634-9229.

Leary Technical Center to hold job fair on Thursday

The Learey Technical Center is having a job fair from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday. The fair is at 5410 N 20th St., off Hillsborough Avenue. Bring your resume and be prepared for "mini-interviews." Local captain offers free tarpon, flats fishing seminar

Workshop for women starts Wednesday at Lightfoot Center

The "Yes, Ma'am" workshop for women begins Wednesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and continues every Wednesday for the next four weeks. The cost is $21 for members and $31.50 for non-members. County planning department to hold public workshops

Hillsborough County's Planning and Growth Management Department is having three workshops to discuss the Town 'NCountry community based plan.
