THE LOWDOWN: This is the fourth and final meeting between the teams this season. Buffalo holds a 2-1 advantage and is 21-10-2 all-time against Tampa Bay. ... C Stu Barnes has three goals against the Lightning this season; LW Dave Andreychuk, RW Miroslav Satan and C Doug Gilmour each have two. Satan has four goals in his past four games. ... The Sabres, 7-3-0 in their past 10 games, clinched a playoff spot with a 4-0 win against Atlanta on Friday. ... G Dominik Hasek stopped 30 shots against Atlanta -- his 11th shutout of the season -- and is 4-1-0 with two goals against in his past five. With 56 career shutouts, he is one shy of Dallas' Ed Belfour for most among active goaltenders. ... Buffalo has allowed a league-low 173 goals and leads the league in penalty killing (87.7 percent). ... Denis Hamel (knee) is out, and Richard Smehlik (bruised ribs) is day to day. ...
