Basketball -- Men's league

Football -- Coaches sought

Golf -- Schedule

April 27, 12:30 p.m. -- Mayor's Golf Tournament, Largo Golf Club. A four-person scramble. Register by Friday; $60 entry fee per player. Call 518-3024 for a registration form.

May 4, 1 p.m. -- City of Oldsmar Tournament, a four-person scramble at Lansbrook. For a tourney packet for individuals or businesses, call Robert Kerce, (813) 855-4211.

May 5-6 -- Florida State Golf Association's Club Team Championship, Bonita Springs. Entries close April 11. Call (813) 632-3742 for a registration form.

May 6, 8 a.m. -- Tutterow Stars of Tomorrow Tournament at Bardmoor. A four-person scramble with greens fee of $65 each. For more details, call 584-5133 or 536-4243.

May 12 -- Admiral Farragut Celebrity Invitational at Bardmoor. Wrestler Randy "Macho Man" Savage will serve as master of ceremonies. Proceeds go to the school. For more information, call Randy Harris, (727) 409-3762.

Hole-in-one -- Robbie Sullivan of Danbury, Conn., made his first ace. He accomplished the feat on St. Patrick's Day at Clearwater Country Club, making the 143-yard seventh hole with a 9-iron.

Running -- Schedule

Softball -- St. Pete Beach

St. Pete Beach is looking for adult teams for the spring season in the Monday night men's league. The 10-week season costs $300 per squad. Registration ends April 13. For more information, call Shawn Daily, 363-9244.

St. Petersburg adult -- Registration for returning teams in the St. Petersburg men's, women's and mixed leagues will be April 23-27 at the city's athletic office, 1320 Fifth St. N. The entry fee is $300 per squad. Registration for new teams will be May 5, starting at 8 a.m. The fee is $315 per club. A non-resident card is required for players living outside the city limits. All leagues begin May 21. For more information, call 892-5223.

Madeira Beach -- Registration for adult leagues will be Friday. The cost for the 10-week season, starting April 23, is $300 per team. Men's leagues and mixed leagues are available. For more information, call Danny Gavin, (727) 392-0665 ext. 3.

Swimming -- Clinic

St. Petersburg Aquatics is having a clinic for novice to competitive swimmers 10-18. The clinic will be at Admiral Farragut Academy, 501 Park St. N, St. Petersburg. It will run Monday through Friday from 3:30-4:30 p.m. through May 17. The cost is $81 plus a $20 per family fee. Swimmers must bring a copy of their birth certificate.
