TAMPA -- Chamberlain disposed of Gaither in five innings Saturday with a 10-0 victory. The Chiefs (21-1-1), powered by Niki Trowell's three-run homer in the first inning, built a 4-0 lead.

They increased their lead in the third with three more runs. Then Amanda Cody blasted a three-run home run in the fourth, her fifth of the season.

The 4-5-6 hitters in the Chiefs' lineup (Krista Jessup, Trowell, and Cody) went 9-for-9 with nine RBI.

Trowell (9-1) held the Cowboys to one hit and struck out three.

Gaither fell to 9-7.
