Johnson, CFP, a financial representative at Northwestern Mutual Financial Network in Tampa, has been authorized by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards to use CFP, Certified Financial Planner, in accordance with Board certification and renewal requirements. The CFP Board is a non-profit professional regulatory organization founded in 1985 to benefit the public by fostering professional standards in personal financial planning. Johnson received an MBA from the University of Chicago, majoring in finance, and a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois.

H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute announces two new promotions: Karen Fields, M.D., has been promoted to the position of chief of medicine. Fields is the program leader of the blood and marrow transplantation unit, and the medical director of affiliations and referring physicians. John Greene, M.D., has been promoted to chair of the interdisciplinary oncology program education committee. Greene is currently an associate professor of oncology and medicine, and section chief of the division of infectious and tropical diseases.

Butler Burnette Pappas law firm announces that Lisa A. Oonk, Charles F. Reynolds II and Scott J. Frank have become partners in the firm. Oonk specializes in insurance coverage litigation, and Reynolds specializes in casualty insurance defense. Frank practices in the firm's Miami office and specializes in subrogation and class-action matters.
