Deadline to enter is Monday. Format will be a four-ball scramble. Cost is $75 per player and includes: golf with cart, range balls, box lunch, barbecue dinner, door prizes, and putting and hole-in-one contests. Hole sponsors are needed at a cost of $100. Wesley Chapel High: An informational meeting about cheerleading tryouts will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the cafeteria. Parents should plan on attending with their children. BriefsKindergarten registration will be held May 7 at elementary schools throughout the county. Parents should call the school their child will be enrolled in for specific times. Documentation needed includes: birth certificate, Social Security card (if possible) physical and shot records and proof of residency. The 6th Annual "Catch A Rising Star" scholarship is available to high school students. Three $500 scholarships will be awarded at the Catch A Rising Star Concert, featuring local favorite Knight Sounds. Deadline for submitting an application and performance video is April 17. FFA received second place for its float in the parade. Pasco County Fair art winners were: Claire Swan, first place, two-dimension; and Susan Lau, Sean Nonnemaker and Karla Henke, honorable mentions.
