Focus on volunteers

The St. Petersburg Free Clinic, 863 Third Ave. N, will hold a volunteer orientation from 10 a.m. to noon today. Another orientation will be held from 9:30-11:30 a.m. April 21. For information, call Dawna Sarmiento at 821-1200, ext. 118.

RSVP of Pinellas Opportunity Council Inc./Retired Senior Volunteer Program will hold its annual volunteer recognition ceremony at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Coliseum, 535 Fourth Ave. N, St. Petersburg. The public is invited to attend. Cost is $15. For information, call 327-8690, ext. 22.

Volunteers are needed for the 2001 Mainsail Arts Festival on April 21 and 22 at Straub Park in St. Petersburg. Duties include brochure distribution, staffing the information booth and selling T-shirts, posters and beverages. For information, call Mary Myers at 893-7886.

Volunteers are needed for the Clowning for Kids on April 21 at Largo Cultural Center and Central Park, 105 Central Park Drive. Duties include beverage and food sales, ticket collecting and supervising the children's moonwalk. For information, call 544-4433, ext. 237.
