Several groups in the county are celebrating Easter with special Easter Egg hunt on Saturday.
HERNANDO -- Free Easter Party for area children including an Easter Egg Hunt, face painting, balloons, games and refreshments at 1 p.m., April 14, at the Inverness Elks Lodge 2522, 3580 E Lemon Drive on the lake, Hernando. CITRUS SPRINGS -- The bunny trail stops at Citrus Springs Welcome Center at 1 p.m. on April 14. There will be separate sections and times for age groups: toddlers to 4 years, 5 to 8 years and 9 to 12 years. Have your youngster bring a basket and see if he/she can collect a special egg. Steve, the Easter Bunny, will be there to give special treats to the children. For information, call Wanda at 465-5521. Come and share the fun.
HOMOSASSA -- The West Citrus Elks of Homosassa will have its Annual Easter Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. April 14, on the lodge grounds, 7890 W Grover Cleveland Blvd. This is a free event for all children of the community age 11 years old and under. The Easter Bunny and his Clown helpers will be there to add to the entertainment. Several nice prizes will be awarded to children who find the lucky eggs. Refreshments will be served. There is plenty of parking space.
HOMOSASSA -- The First United Methodist Church of Homosassa will have its annual Easter Egg Hunt from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, at 8831 W Bradshaw St. All children from ages 2 through the sixth grade are invited. Please bring a basket for collecting your eggs. The clowns will entertain while you hunt for eggs, play games and do crafts. Good times and refreshments for all.
